At the launch of this web site we highlight<span lang=\"en-tt\">ed<\/span>\u00a0the accomplishments of twenty (20) scientists that are featured in a video documentary, which was produced with the support of the OAS Inter-American Agency for Co-operation and Development. Copies of this feature video were donated to secondary schools and public broadcast stations throughout the region for use in science teaching and popularisation programmes in CCST member countries.<\/p>\n<p class=\"content flow-text\" style=\"text-align: center;\">The site has been updated to feature additional Icons whose achievements were captured in the conduct of this project over the past few years.<\/p>\n\n\n<p><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Objectives The web site was designed as a means of providing students and the general public with easily accessible and up to date information on Caribbean Icons.
